Updated Mutant Zombie Armageddon Video!

by on Sep.08, 2010, under Mutant Zombie Armageddon

Latest Mutant Zombie Armageddon Video – This video includes some updated graphics. I also changed the way I was doing to text so it is separate from the video segments. The game is getting very close to being done. Still needs a few updates and bug fixes and then hopefully off to review!

Mutant Zombie Armageddon demo/beta

by on Sep.03, 2010, under Mutant Zombie Armageddon

This is a demo/beta of the windows version of Mutant Zombie Armageddon. This game was built using the XNA framework. It supports the XBOX360 Controller for windows or Mouse and Keyboard. Please give it a try and tell me what you think in the comments. The game requires .net 2.0 and the XNA 3.1 runtime. It will install these if they don’t already exist. Fair warning – It needs a pretty good machine to run.

Mutant Zombie Armageddon Video

by on Aug.16, 2010, under Mutant Zombie Armageddon

I took a break from Abducted! to work on a different game. This started as a simple game to test out some of the changes I wanted to make to Abducted!, but ended up turning into its own game.

I this game you travel through mutiple levels to search for the cause/cure for a virus which has killed much of the works population and mutated most of the rest into zombies.

It uses deferred rendering, A* pathfinding, and the levels are all generated randomly.

Tell me what you think in the comments !

Thanks.

XNA 3D World Studio content pipeline released

by on Mar.12, 2010, under Abducted

The content pipeline I use in my game originally cam from johnny lightbulb’s content importer. Without his code I would not have had anything to start with. Therefore, I felt it was only fair in the gnu tradition to release my changes to his code. Get it at
xna3dws

I added lightmap, model instances, trigger and ladder brushes, collision model creation and much more

by on Mar.01, 2010, under Abducted

Here is the first trailer for Abducted. I needed to put one together for DBP. The first one I attempted was too long. So I started over and got it down under two minutes.  Here is the result.

Previous Abducted Videos

by on Dec.18, 2009, under Abducted

Here is the latest Abducted video. I changed the lighting to use radiosity normal maps and added
new textures and a new boss monster. Also included is the new intro.

Here is an older version which was created after I first added monsters

And here was the first video which really just showed what the basic engine could do:
